How to be happy in Bournemouth
Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy and NLP are great ways to change your state, the way you feel. The thing is that we use the natural ways we do this but in a good way. Too often we can be ok and in a moment something happens which we’re not consciously aware of and our mood (state) changes. Well if this can happen in a negative way the good news is we can use the same process to go from negative to positive feelings. Before you do that…………………
Have you ever seen lists of how to be this or do that or improve this in your life?
Well, I’ve just spent a little time on the internet reading such things as…101 ways to be happy, 40 ways to be happy 6 ways to be happy and the list went on and on!
Wow and the thing is whilst being right in a way that is giving advice of where and how to find happiness in the world I got the impression they were all forgetting one thing.
One thing Paul what’s that?
The one thing that appeared to be missing was to me the most important ~ shall I tell you now or later?
Well all these ways we telling people to do this and do that to experience happiness (Oh by the way this means I’ll tell you later) Yes you can go do these things but if you’re not feeling happy right now will you I doubt it. If you’re feeling low, down or depressed I know you won’t because it’s hard to imagine taking all that effort.
Now you may be thinking right now where’s this going? If all these articles are missing something what is it?
Now here’s the thing
You can go anywhere and everywhere to try to find happiness but the thing is you will only find it in one place. Looking for it outside isn’t where it is.
Where is happiness? True happiness?
It’s with you all the time, it’s in you and has been since you were created! And when you feel it on the inside, everything on the outside changes and so does everyone around you. It’s infectious the best virus in the world. Here’s a quick example of that virus ~ A simple happy smile cannot not make someone smile too and every smile as happy feelings. It’s that simple to start.
If you want to go further you may want to do this. (you will have to read this first and remember what to do)
• Close your eyes
• Breathe gently and ask inside with your inner voice “What’s made me feel happy in the past, one specific time?” and you will remember a time in your mind.
• Jump back into that memory, into your body in that memory and see what you saw and hear what you heard and FEEL the FEELINGS NOW.
• Double the feeling and double them again and smile on the inside and outside too.
• Do this again a couple of times maybe with a different memory and always finish with a smile on the most intense happy feelings.
Now to test:
Clear you mind and think of anything different your phone number backwards for example
SMILE ~ Smile just like you did and…………………………………
Notice how you feel now.
Unfortunately you are now anchored in (something we teach in our NLP trainings)
Every time you smile you’re going to feel this intense happy feeling (what a shame) and you may just create happy feelings in everyone you smile at too.
